I must admit, I bought some of these books last year to read for the holidays, but they ended up in my TBR pile. The good news is that I’m committing to not buying any holiday books since I have these to finish. I’m most excited for Let It Snow since I’m a John Green fan, but I also really enjoy David Sedaris, so I know Holidays on Ice will be good.

How cute does Six Cats A Slayin’ sound? My husband randomly saw this book at a used bookstore and didn’t have to tell me twice. $4!

I read Good Energy by Dr. Casey Means and thought it was pretty good! I gave it an overall 3.5. I loved the tips about how to improve your health and all the science-backed data about where disease stems from. What I didn’t love was the parts of her sneakily trying to promote her business, but I just ignored that. The other thing I didn’t love was the all-or-nothing attitude the book seemed to have. Overall though, if you are looking for tips on how to better your health, this is a good one to get!
